A new version of Ubuntu (a user friendly distribution of Linux) has been launched, it’s called Oneiric Ocelot. Like the previous version, it has a great looking user interface and backs your work and entertainment needs with open source, user friendly software. The main thing to notice in Oneiric Ocelot is the Unity Interface which makes it as good as Windows or Mac.
I have been dual-booting Ubuntu with Windows on PC for about an year now, it loads much faster than Windows and works extremely fast without freezes or any virus alerts. If you are looking for an operating system for your PC that gives you completely peace of mind, I think you should get yourself Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot.
The new version works on Kernel 3.0, with a better looking Unity Interface, Gnome Environment 3.2., automatic fragmentation and a better looking user interface. You can check out the complete features of Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot by following [this link]. The next update of Ubuntu codenamed “Precise Pangolin” would be rolled out in April, next year.
