A leaked picture from Microsoft’s Research presentation shows that the company is preparing Curved soft keyboard for the upcoming version of Windows Phone operating system. As you can see in the picture above, the new layout would have several keys stuffed into a single key — which would make typing with one hand possible.
Most probably, this is a fake picture because there is no real reason why a user would switch to bar-style typing from full QWERTY. Anyway, even if the new Windows 8 powered phones have this feature, it would come with a toggle switch to move back to full QWERTY or change alignment of the curved keyboard — for left-handed users.
