iPhone is set to debut with T-Mobile LTE network on 12th of April. Unlike other data carriers, T-Mobile is not asking for a 2-year contract with the network, to own the iPhone at an affordable price.
For $99, you can bring home 16 GB iPhone 5 and then pay $20/month for 24 months — this brings the total cost of owning iPhone 5 to $579 (over a period of 2 years) — and you pay for data and call charges separately.
One disadvantage that T-Mobile has, is limited reach. T-Mobile’s LTE network is limited to 7 cities, whereas companies like AT&T, Verizon and Sprint have them in all major cities of the United States.
T-Mobile will also be offering iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 — starting at $69 and $15 — respectively.
Are you up for some LTE-powered iPhone action with T-Mobile?
