As reported by 9to5Mac, there are chances that Apple may introduce Siri – Apple’s virtual assistant for iOS devices and Maps in the next release of OS X 10.9 Mountain Lion.
As of now, Maps have been made available only to developers, so that they can use the API to integrate Apple Maps into their apps.
Apple has been constantly working on brining more and more useful features to Mac OS X; previous release had brought services like AirPlay, iMessage, Notifications Center and Dictation to what Apple claims to be the most advance computer OS. Apple will most certainly release OS X 10.9 Mountain Lion in the first quarter of 2013; therefore we’ll have to wait to see whether Siri and Maps find a place in the slew of Mac OS X 10.9 features.
