If we believe the date Microsoft listed in a SEC filing last month, we will see Surface tablets selling in market from 26th of October. It seems Lenovo doesn’t want to be left out, ABC News believes that Lenovo might be prepping two versions of IdeaPad Yoga (convertible tablet) for October release. One version of IdeaPad Yoga would have ARM-based Tegra processor while the other one would have processor manufactured by Intel/AMD. Former would run Microsoft’s limited Windows RT whereas latter would run Microsoft’s full-blown Windows 8 Pro. Even though Windows RT lacks support for several of Microsoft’s programs, it will have full access to Windows Marketplace – and nearly double the battery life. Most probably, we might see Lenovo flaunt its hybrid tablets in public soon.
