Sony pushes the Long-awaited ICS update for a few Xperia Smartphones

Sony has finally released the much-awaited Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for 3 of its Xperia series Smartphones viz. the Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray; the remaining phones in the Xperia series (Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo, Xperia mini, Xperia mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active and Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman) are likely to get upgraded to the latest version of Android operating system by the end of May, or early June. Also, this update is initially released for people living Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Norway; the rest of the world would have to wait another 4 to 6 days in order to install the freshly-prepared Ice Cream Sandwich on their Smartphones.
