Up till CES 2011, Huawei had an image in the market as a brand that makes low-priced Android Smartphones but during CES, they launched two high-end Android devices – Ascend P1 and Ascend P1 S which added flares to the brand. It seems a lot of good things (maybe a Quad Core Smartphone) can be expected from Huawei at MWC 2012 which going to happen in Barcelona, this February.
There is a rumor that Huawei is going to unveil their Diamond series Smartphones at that event which the company claims to be their ‘smartest, fastest and most high-performing smartphone.’ Since Huawei is emphasizing so much on performance, it is very much possible that this new device maybe a Quad Core Smartphone. According a Japanese Blog, Huawei is planning to release Ascend D1 Q and MediaPad 10 at MWC 2012. Is it possible that the Q in Ascend D1 Q refers to quad-core?
Well, nobody knows the truth, except for Huawei of course, but MWC is not too far away, it’s on 26th of February and there we are going to find out whether this quad-core rumor had some truth latched to it.
