Google Voice now available for Indian Recipients

Call Indian Residents from Google Voice

You must have heard about Google Voice, it is a service from Google that lets users call landline and mobile phones at very cheap prices, kind of like Skype.

Google Voice was earlier available in US and Canada but now people living in US and Canada can call India and France at very cheap prices, $0.02 per minute. I read somewhere that Google Voice can be used by Indian consumers as well but when I opened Google Voice, it showed that my country wasn’t supported.

Skype is going to have pretty tough competition from Google Voice, as it begins to expand in various other countries.

It would be interesting to see how this VoIP rivalry turns our. I think Google, once completely expanded, might overtake Skype because most of the users in the world have a Google Account. Future holds a lot of mysteries, I would be waiting for this one to unveil.
