Sony ST26i aka Xperia J is expected to hit markets by the end of August, just before IFA 2012 but we’ve found some neat, colorful pictures of its back-panel on a Chinese website called ePrice. To cater a wide range of consumers, Sony would release this mid-range Android Smartphone in three colors viz. White, Pink and Black.
By the looks of the phone, it looks pretty decent for a mid-ranger. But there’s something that is more interesting – the tiny green ball that has energized Sony Ericsson’s handsets for several years, is missing from back-panel.
Like I said earlier, it’s a mid-range device, so, its features are not that exciting. It’s got a 4-inch TS display (854 x 480 pixel resolution), 1 GHz single-core processor and a possible 5-megapixel shooter with LED flash.
Sony has officially announced that there would be no JellyBean update for several of its Xperia series phones; therefore, Xperia J might also ship with Ice Cream Sandwich powering its Software.
