In the midst of this tense situation, RIM’s got a good news to share, its own App Store for BlackBerry devices i.e. BlackBerry App World has reached ’3 billion downloads’ milestone out of which 1 billion came in past 6 months. With nearly 90,000 apps and 28,000 application vendors RIM is trying hard to provide high quality games & applications to users who made this tough decision to go with a BlackBerry Smartphone when the entire world was shifting their Smartphone preferences to Android & iOS — which certainly will help the BBM company survive.
