Samsung has officially announced the successor of Samsung Galaxy Ace which quite a Popular Android phone in India because of its features and price.

The new phone Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus doesn’t look very different from Galaxy Ace on the outside, though on the inside Samsung has tweaked a couple of things.

Samsung Galaxy Ace would sport a larger 3.65 inch HVGA (320 x 480 pixel) capacitive touchscreen display, improved 1 GHz single core processor, 512 RAM and 3 GB of internal memory which you can easily upgrade up to 32 GB using an external microSD data card.

One thing that disappointed me was its operating system which is the latest version of Android v2.3 Gingerbread. Google has official released the Source code for Android v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but neither does this phone comes with that OS, nor there is any indication of future update. It feels Samsung is going to keep ICS for its high end Smartphones.

This phone would also come with Samsung Kies Air for instant updates and Samsung ChatON for staying connected with your friend circle.

There is no camera upgrade in this device, like Galaxy Ace, its successor also has a 5-megapixel AF camera with LED flash and no secondary camera for video calling. I seriously feel Samsung should’ve added a secondary camera because 3G is getting popular in India.

It has all the necessary connectivity options and would come with several Google services pre-installed.

Galaxy Ace Plus’ pricing & release date for India are still under the veil.
