Nokia has announced a low-cost Windows Phone 8 device that will start shipping this January, starting with Asian countries. The Lumia 920 – budget Windows Phone 8 device – features: a 3.8-inch TFT screen (800 x 480 px resolution), a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, 512 MB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage. Don’t worry, unlike other “Smart” phones, it has a slot of expandable memory. There’s also a 5-megapixel shooter with LED flash that does 720p video, along with a front-facing VGA cam. The phone, when released, will be priced fairly competitively at $249. Another interesting thing about the device is changeable back-panel – dress your Lumia in your favorite colors.
