While almost all the computer companies have started focusing on manufacturing Ultrabooks, MSI has revealed its all new CR41 notebook which it plans to offer in royal bronze finish. The laptop sports a 14-inch display screen with 1,366 by 768 pixel resolution, HM76 graphics chipset, third-gen Core processors from Intel, and configurable storage options (500/640/720 GB).
It’s not the thinnest of full-blown 14-inch laptops available in the market. Weighing 5.3 pounds (2.4 kg), there’d be no reason why you’d want to buy this laptop and not a Ultrabook, if of course – you have the money to afford an Ultrabook. It got a six-cell 4,400 mAh battery because of which you can use this laptop for nearly 7 hours on a single charge.
MSI had also loaded this royal computer with support for Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, an optical drive, HDMI ports, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one SD card slot and jacks for microphone and headphone.
As of now, there’s no detail out regarding its pricing for various configurations and release date. Also, there are chances that this somewhat regal machine would hit the shelves with Windows 7 under its hood and not the latest Windows 8 operating system with Metro UI.
