Smartphones for Business? – Choose the best!
Choosing the best business phone from a big bundle of gadgets available in the market could be a tiring job. Actually the procedure of buying a mobile phone is full of confusion. I personally have done this mistake once to buy a cell phone without reading reviews and wasted Rs. 10,000 on a low-end phone. I hope you like our work and treat us with a comment.
Business phones must have these…
- A good front and rear Camera
- A Document Editor/Viewer
- PDF Files Viewer and eBook Reader
- Decent MP3 Player for music as well as Audio Books
- Social Networking Integration
- and… Google Maps etc. etc.
Now there are several companies who manufacture business phones with dedication like BlackBerry but with the introduction of Android, any phone operating on it can be classified as a business/feature/music phone. Quite confusing right!
Here is my list of the best business phone available in the market around… Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 15,000
Nokia E71 – 4/5
The brand name says it all, trust, quality and satisfaction. It is the only gadget that i found value for money in. Great looks, amazing features, it was launched back in 2007 and still it can compete with many phones.
Pros:
- Decent 3.2MP Camera
- Dedicated Rocker Buttons
- Document Editor/Viewer
- Sleek Metallic Looks
- microSD expansion slots up to 8GB
- and talk time of approx. 10 hours
Cons:
- Outdated 2.5mm audio jack
- Poor ARM 369MHz processor
BlackBerry Curve 8520 – 4.5/5
The name BlackBerry is associated only to business and smartphones, so nothing else can expected from them but a great device to manage your business needs. Oh! yeah! BlackBerry Curve 8520 Review has to be positive and thus i gave it a 4.5 Rating.
You know, it’s optical trackball is better than touchscreen phones or any other gadget.
Pros:
- BlackBerry email and internet services
- Great optical trackpad navigation
- Super-fine display screen that plays DivX videos along with MP4
- Awesome Document Editor/Supports Microsoft Office 7
Cons:
- No flash with camera
- Bluetooth only works with Other BB devices
Samsung Omnia Pro B7320 – 3.5/5
Samsung has been my favorite smartphone brand after it’s revolutionary future beyond smartphone series that includes Samsung Galaxy S i9000 and Samsung Wave S8500. But before that it also introduced a Windows-operating Omnia series and B7320 lives up to the mark.
Features:
Full Keyboard, Windows Mobile OS, WiFi, 3G, GPS (Map Navigation), 3.2 Megapixel Camera
Pros:
- Overall good in price point
- Windows OS Mobile 6.1 upgradable to 6.5
- Decent Camera with Document Viewer/Editor
- Business Mobile Phone Looks
Cons:
- Doesn’t do justice to UI as HTC Touch 2 does
Your Opinions Needed! Badly!
I was about to enter Samsung Apollo into this list but didn’t do it because it is a touchscreen mobile phone and i believe that they are in comparison with tradition business that have a physical QWERTY keyboard.
Among these… i would go for BlackBerry Curve 8520 because it is the best. The best
Now i have a question for my lovely readers… What do you feel can touchscreen gadget ever replace physical QWERTY keyboard. Please comment below and share you words.
