Logitech Revue would now cost 100 bucks ($200 less than launch price)

Logitech reduced the price of Revue to $100

Not too long ago, Logitech brought the first ever Google TV product called Logitech Revue in market at a price of $300. If you don’t know Google TV is a new platform from Google that combines your TV, entire web, apps and more to give you an integrated entertainment experience.

Since Google TV is a new platform, not too many people were interested in buying Logitech Revue, also it was priced quite high which added up to the reluctance of the consumer. The brand’s attempt to launch Logitech Revue as the first ever Google TV gadget, couldn’t gain proper attention and therefore the company suffered losses in Q2 this year and began to decrease its price.

Currently, Logitech Revue is priced at $100 which is a good price for such a device, with Google TV being updated with Android Market and Honeycomb it would be interesting to see how well it performs. Also, if you can spend more money to get Google TV for your 60” LED TV then I would suggest you to keep patience, because loads of new gadgets are lined up ahead.

As of now, Logitech’s online retailers are showing the price of Logitech Revue as $250, but I think these listing would soon get updated.
