BenQ India has recently launched two new point-and-shoot cameras for entry-level photographers – the GH600 and the GH700. Both cameras feature a 16-megapixel sensor, a 3-inch preview screen, 21x optical zoom and 25 mm wide-angle view.
Priced at Rs. 10,999, GH600 can record 720p high-definition videos at 30 frames-per-second, in addition to taking crisp pictures. GH700 on the other hand, is priced Rs. 5,000 higher – it features a BSI CMOS sensor and a high-speed digital signal processor (DSP) which increases image sensitivity and reduces noise levels. In addition to balance an image’s contrast and brightness using HDR III, it shoots Full HD 1080p videos at 60 fps.
BenQ India believes its GH series provides DSLR-like imaging effects at a low price.
