Reliance 3G Tab is not the cheapest Tab in India anymore, Beetel 3G Magiq is

Beetel 3G Magiq, Cheapest Android Tablet in India

Earlier this month, Reliance introduced Reliance 3G Tab with a price tag of Rs. 12,999/- which shifted the tag of “cheapest tablet pc” from Archos to Reliance. Post one week, Beetel (a brand by Airtel) has take away that tag from Reliance as it announced Beetel 3G Magiq Android Tablet PC in India at a price of Rs. 9,999/- (the first Android Tablet PC in India below Rs. 10,000/-).

Although it is a basic 7” Android Tablet PC but still has good features keeping in mind the price at which it would be sold in India. Have a look at its technical specifications.

Beetel 3G Magiq Tech Specs

  • 7” WVGA display screen
  • 2MP rear and front camera
  • 8GB internal memory, expandable up to 16GB
  • Android v2.2 Froyo
  • Supports apps from Android Market
  • 1GHz Processor
  • 2200 mAh battery

The tablet comes with free 3G data, both prepaid and postpaid Airtel subscribers can take the benefit of that. I hope the tablet works smoother than other budget tablet PCs available in market.

      Hey Shael,

Most probably it would come with Airtel 3G, but since Reliance Tab supports other network, Beetel 3G Magiq might also have support for other network providers.

Hope that helps. Any more questions?

      Regards,
      Rakesh

Unfortunately Reliance 3G Tab is locked with Reliance so you won’t be able to use any other SIM card with this tablet. To make up for that Reliance offers three different discounted rental plans — Rs 4,500 for 1 GB per month, Rs 5,500 for 2 GB per month and Rs 7,000 for 5 GB per month.
