Perfect World, a major shareholder of Runic Games is hinting to launch the MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role-playing game) version of the very popular role-playing game – Torchlight in late 2012 or early 2013.
“Torchlight from Runic, as mentioned, I think the MMORPG version is going to be – is scheduled to be launched in late 2012 or early 2013.” said Kelvin Lau, CEO, Perfect World.
Max Schaefer, CEO, Runic Games said that they have some great ideas for the MMORPG version of Torchlight but that would be later, probably next year.
“We have a lot of good ideas for the MMO, we just aren’t committing to any kind of schedule yet.”
Torchlight was a very mystical game, I had enjoyed it very much, I naturally like role playing games, the next installment in the series is coming later this year so keep yourself prepared for the thrill.
