With this, telecom operators can earn some profits from increasing mobile phone application market – estimated to be nearly $4.1 billion dollars. The research and statistics were compiled by a team of analysts led by Chetan Sharma.

“This gives operators some revenue, compared to none. We are going to open it up to all other developers,” said Peter Vesterbacka, head of Rovio’s business development in North America.

Peter Vesterbacka also added that he was keen to launch such a system that made transaction more easier for their mobile phone app. Angry Birds Mobile Phone Game could now be download easily and directly to mobile phones with cost deducted from user’s phone balance.
