Microsoft Age of Empires Online launching on August 16
Age of Empires is Microsoft’s online extension to their most popular, best-selling strategy video game. Age of Empires is one of the most interesting, entertaining and mind-blowing game ever developed and now they are aiming to take the whole adventure on the internet.
The game would release on August 16 this year with two of the greatest civilization — the Greeks and Egyptians — you would be able to play this legend online at [this] website.
Microsoft is offering 40 hours of free gameplay to everyone, I hope that they have added new campaigns and units to their online pack. It has been almost 9 years since I first played Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings and the fact of the matter is that I still have that game on my PC.
As the strength and adventure of the players in the game would grow, Microsoft would offer them an opportunity to purchase fresh new Premium Content Packs, booster packs which would contain new units, entirely new civilizations and additional modes. Of course, that’s where their revenue would come from.
By the way, the best part of Age of Empires Online would be community, you won’t be playing alone but with millions of AOE fans around the globe. You would be able to trade, share, fight and grow with your friends or complete strangers, pool in your armies for competitive campaigns and earn point – everything for free!
Age of Empires Online is progressing but keeping their past intact, you would still have to gather resource, build players and wage wars in order to win that title of Glory. In short, you have played it on your PC, you have played it on your laptop but now you are going to play it on the internet with the world wide web. Enjoy.
By the way, it’s launching on August 16, if you missed reading it.
