A source in UK’s telecom industry told CNET UK that Samsung’s upcoming Smartphone in the Galaxy series – Galaxy SIII would just be a minor upgraded version of Galaxy SII, and not a whole new Smartphone; there’s also a possibility that it won’t get sold under the name “Samsung Galaxy SIII.”
I would be really disappointed with Samsung if this is even close to the truth; I mean since I got the wind of Samsung Galaxy SIII, I was hoping it to feature some mind-blowing specs and software upgrades. Samsung’s ICS flagship phone – Galaxy Nexus was totally amazing because of which I was expecting the third-gen Galaxy S Smartphone to have not only more muscle power but also the premium looks & design.
If we believe that the new Galaxy S would be an upgraded version of Galaxy SII then there’s a big possibility that it would look somewhat identical to Galaxy SII. It might have a big, bright Super AMOLED Plus display screen, but that doesn’t really matter because we already have Galaxy Note in the market.
Even if this rumor is true, the new Galaxy S phone would have a custom version ICS operating system, a brighter Super AMOLED Plus display, maybe a quad-core processor, improved GPU, improved camera and maybe some premium, exclusive business, entertainment apps which would make it a quite lucrative, competitive high-end Android Smartphone.
