Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is, undoubtedly, one of the most expected software updates of this year. Though, Google has announced ICS with Samsung Galaxy Nexus S, it seems that Motorola Xoom tablet which was earlier rumored to get ICS would indeed taste a delicious Ice Cream Sandwich soon enough.
Matt at Motorola’s support forums (a moderator who has insights about software upgrades) confirmed that Motorola is set to release ICS for the Xoom tablet. Nothing about the exact date or even time frame has been revealed, it is just the initial spark, we’d have to wait for some more announcements (or leaks) from Motorola regarding this.
