World’s First Mobile Phone with Dual Core Processor

Have you ever heard of a mobile phone that runs on a dual-core processor? No! So, here you go,  LG has come up with a mobile phone that falls under its Optimus range of smartphones, you know Optimus that all the Optimus phone had great love for Android OS 2.2 Froyo but no hardware to show it. Therefore this time with LG Optimus 2X they have gone the distance.

LG Optimus 2X review has only two things to flaunt and that is the processing speed and HD graphics capability. I am still amazed about the fact that engineers at LG have finally made a dual-core processor for mobile device. These days even Android tablets run on single cores.

The phone LG Optimus 2X is not launched yet so consider this LG Optimus 2X review as a preview to an innovation.

LG Optimus 2X Details and Specifications

• Runs on TFT Capacitive touchscreen, supports 16 million colors, screen size is mighty 4-inches that display resolution of 480 x 800 pixels
• Embedded with an Accelerometer Sensor for Auto Rotate, Proximity Sensor for Auto turn-off, Gyro Sensor and touch sensitive controls at the bottom
• Full touch, no navigation keys at all
• Supports Universal headphones since it has a 3.5mm Audi Jack
• Internal storage is set to 8GB whereas the memory is upgradeable using a microSD card up to 32GB
• It is a 3G ready, Wi-Fi enabled and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP working phone thus there is no problem to connect to the world, to your social networking websites with ease
• It sports a 8MP, 3264×2448 pixel resolution, autofocus camera alongside which an LED flash is provided. Yes, it does record video in 1080p format
• It comes with NVIDIA Tegra graphics for all those who love games in HD.
• Runs on Android OS 2.2 Froyo, upgradeable to Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread

My Expectations with LG Optimus 2X

After using LG Optimus one, the only thing that looked bad was its processing speed, the phone was quite slow as compared to other Android devices, although it was operating on Android 2.2 it lacked flare.

I expect, since LG Optimus 2X has a dual-core mobile phone processor, it would have better and faster processing speed. I am expecting to make user’s experience faster and better, these are my estimations, what do you expect for LG optimus?

Price of LG Optimus 2X in United States would be somewhere above $500, and price of LG optimus 2X in India would be above Rs. 22,000. If the same gadget would have been from Apple, it would have cost more than Rs. 50K.
